Three ways to be more productive at work
Offices are second home for most of us. After all we spend more than half our waking hours in the office. So where is the time to look after our health leave alone pamper ourselves with healthy titbits. This can be easily remedied. Just follow some of these tips while you are on the move and good heath will be yours for life.
The maximum time is spent sitting on a chair or slumped over a desk. Use this to your advantage. Try shifting your legs from a sitting position to a reclining position. If there is an empty dustbin under your desk then just invert it and place your feet over the bin. Take a walk till the water cooler every now and then. It stretches the legs and prevents stiffness. Once you are back, take an additional 5 minute break. Clench your hands a couple of times. Make a fist and open the hands a couple of times. This improves blood circulation. stretch the arms above the head to remove the strain from the shoulders and the neck. Now move to the neck. Every hour make yourself get up to take a drink of warm water. In a couple of days, this will eliminate the need for endless cups of coffee and trust me you will feel more alert.
