Koroneiki is the chief oil variety of Greece. It's fruit ripens early producing high oil yields from which a highly rated and stable oil is acheived.
This cultivar is grown over 50% of the countrys growing region in areas such as Crete and Samos.
| Tree | Medium, vigour with a sparse and spreading canopy. |
| Leaf | The Leaves are elliptic-lanceolate, of short and narrow shape. |

| Stone | The stone is elongated and pointed at both ends. It is slightly asymmetric with a smooth surface. |
| Fruit | The fruit is small, low in weight and ovoid in shape. |
Koroneiki is resistant to drought but does not tolerate the cold, sensitive to olive knot.
